Sauvignon 2019 | A Thousand Gods (Waihopai, Marlborough, NZ)

A few years in bottle have lovingly massaged the edges of this wine and it is showing in a fantastic place!!

There are the trademark botanical hallmarks of ripe Sauvignon Blanc, bergamot, lavender and rosemary, guava and citrus fruit and then a glimpse of delicate secondary notes of beeswax and honey and the faintest whiff of Germanic riesling-esque petroleum.
