BARE is a passionate wine collective, founded by friends + family around a dinner table in Auckland, New Zealand. Our vision is to source artisanal, low-intervention, delicious drops from around the globe.

SPLASH! FROM BAROUILLET

 – Bergerac, South West, France-

SPLASH!

The Pet Nat from the South West of France that is taking the Natural Wine world by storm and converting the conventional wine drinkers by a daily dozen to the future of wine making.

A masterpiece in its own right, not only does the label fit perfectly to this wine but the taste is insane as well.

 

This fragrant and lively pet nat is made from organic, handpicked grapes without sulphur from a plot of 40 year old Semillon vines grown in clay and limestone.

Zesty lemon and lime aromas at first with a touch of cut grass and plenty of fizz.

Grapes are destemmed and direct pressed into stainless steel tanks where they ferment at a cold temperature for about 1 month. The wine is transferred to bottle just before fermentation is complete to finish fermenting in bottle as a pet-nat. The wine is not disgorged and has zero sulfur added.

At only 9% SPLASH! is fun, crisp and phenomenally easy to to share, its the ideal sparkling for summer!

 

And take it from us: “SPLASH!” is what will happen if you try to pop this baby open before its cold. Be Patient; chill your bubbles
