Peyrouzelles 2019 | Causse Marine

The multitude of grape varieties that make up this wine make it terribly aromatic, with dominant blackcurrant and black cherries. It's the bomb power, density, a big character and generous like its parent.

Vines grown biodynamically (without certification and it's a choice), indigenous yeasts, no input, natural vinification, slight suffering at bottling.

The estate was created in 1993 by Patrice Lescarret, its vineyard extends over a limestone Causse bordered by a watercourse called Marines. Today there are 12 hectares of vines with very low yield, worked by hand, in a natural way (certified organic and biodynamic, but Patrice has chosen to leave the certification) so that their grape varieties express themselves fully and freely.
