Cariño 2021 (Magnum) | Mas Des Agrunelles

The Cariño from Mas Des Argunelles is a bright juicy red with notes of red fruits, cherry and fennel. A great easy drinking everyday wine, perfect for taking on a night out!

The grapes comes from an old plot of Carignan located next to the estate, planted in the 1950s.

The harvest is carried out in boxes and the grapes are generally placed in vats in a whole cluster. The years when the roundups are not well-rounded, everyone the bottom of the tank is scraped so as not to extract any vegetation from the stems that would soak in the juice.

Interventions in winemaking are minimal or even non-existent some years.

Ageing takes place in 20 hl ovoid concrete vats for 7 to 8 months. The wine is bottled without fining or filtration in fruit day and moonlight descending. Total sulfite is less than 10mg / liter.
