Wine 1: Domaine de La Grand Cour Fleurie 2020

Le Clos de la Grand'Cour is located to the south of the Fleurie appellation on a plateau at an altitude of around 300 m. The 6.4 hectare plot, a monopoly of the Dutraive Family, rests on more or less deep soils on granite bedrock.

This Fleurie cuvée comes from the youngest vines in the Clos, 45 years old on average. These cover a little less than 5 hectares of the plot. The yield obtained for the 2018 vintage is 28 hl / ha.

The grapes were vinified in concrete vats then the wines were aged 50% in oak barrels and 50% in oak barrels for 7 months with no addition.

Wine 2: Famille Dutraive Saint Amour Clos du Chapitre 2021

The Dutraive family managed to find organically grown grapes from the only plot of Clos du Chapitre planted on a plateau 260 m above sea level at the eastern end of Saint Amour. The 50-year-old vines deliver here a tasty juice with a creamy and fresh sap.

Refreshing notes of red cherries, currants, potting soil, and crushed flower petals are balanced by firm acid and well-integrated tannins.

Wine 3: Famille Dutraive Chénas En Papolet 2020

En Papolet Chenas is one of four wines from the Dutraive family negotiant project created in response to crop losses of 90% from storms that ravaged the vineyards of Fleurie. While it is farmed by family friend Paul-Henri Thillardon, it beautifully represents Dutraive's fresh-fruited, soulful style, an eternal texture, along with a savoury/sweet component that keeps you coming back for more.

Wine 4: Famille Dutraive Chiroubles 2021

Chiroubles doesn’t often get the love it deserves, and the Dutraives are here to change that. This glouglou bottle of Gamay is loaded with flavors of ripe red cherries, plums, wet earth, and cracked pepper. Serve chilled and pop the cork now, or better yet, grab two bottles and lay one down for a few years.

Wine 5: Famille Dutraive Beaujolais Villages Lantigné 2021

A fresh vintage on a high-altitude terroir located around the town of Lantignié to bring a juice full of indulgence and lightness... Fruit and lightness as we like!

Wine 6: Domaine de La Grand Cour Brouilly 2021

The Dutraive family originally comes from the village of Charentay where this vineyard is located. Though it's the only vineyard not located in immediate proximity to the domaine, it's still dear to the Dutraives, as the vines have been in the family longer than any other parcel.

Lighter body with pronounced acidity. Bursting flavors of strawberry, raspberry, forest floor with a pleasant stone minerality. We recommend a slight chill.
